New ground-up public-resource science education facility located on OSU-Cascades Campus. This net-zero energy building includes two learning labs, a lab prep room for research, and a teacher training lab. A tower houses a demonstration platform for experiments. A new 15,900 SF, one-story, wood-framed, masonry veneer building was constructed on an undeveloped site. Amenities include associated utilities, ample parking, and a memorial community plaza. The new facility replaced the City’s older facilities. A 21,000 SF, two-story regional office building for the Oregon Department of Transportation Region 4 Project Delivery staff. The facility was designed to meet LEED Silver or higher and SEED criteria. New ground up, one-story structure that serves as a portal to the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway and provides information regarding general recreation, forest information, and conservation education. A new ground-up masonry and steel 65-foot tall lookout tower base with a 700 SF residential structure boasting 360-degree views.
